Overlooked, Ignored, and Unanswered
During my recent stay at a name-brand hotel in LA County, I identified several life safety issues that should raise immediate concern for any guest, manager, or property owner. Despite sending a detailed email to the management team, I never received a response.

Unfortunately, this leads me to believe that these issues were not only overlooked but continue to go unmitigated - placing guests, employees, and the brand itself at risk.
The adjacent image is just one example. Fire-rated doors with damaged or improperly installed hardware, blocked egress pathways, and neglected fire-safety features are not “minor issues.” These deficiencies compromise the first line of defense in an emergency.
The video below will highlight the fire & life safety concerns.
So, I ask hotel management and property owners directly:
👉 What are your action steps?
👉 Where are your mitigation plans?
👉 How are you ensuring that your brand promise of safety and comfort is more than just marketing?
At B1C Solutions, we pride ourselves on taking the hospitality industry to the next step. We go beyond compliance checklists and help elevate your brand by creating safer environments for your guests and staff.
Safety is not just about avoiding fines or passing inspections—it’s about protecting lives, preserving assets, and building trust. When safety is ignored, value diminishes. When safety is prioritized, brand reputation and guest confidence grow.
It’s time for hotel leaders to step up, take accountability, and make the necessary corrections.
The question is: Are you ready to lead the way?
